Four of us set out to make a documentary piece, Historias de Lurín. This is our story.
And after a week that seemed like it was only the length on one day, we were back on the plane.

Milagritos and Gabriela came to see it as did our hosts, Micaela’s family.
On the last night of our trip (Friday the 20th) we were able to do a mini showing of the documentary piece. We showed it on Eddie’s laptop with speakers attached in Micaela’s home.

Tonight we took an hour off and went to grab dinner at Larco Mar, a park and shopping center overlooking the ocean.

On Thursday we hired a car to drive us out to the Cementos Lima office and Tablada. On the way home from Tablada our cab driver spoke to use about Cementos Lima and how the company transports cement under the ground to prevent damage to the roads above.

After going to Cementos Lima, we headed over to Tablada to finish shooting. We did one more interview with Juan Carlos.
