Two days of editing
March 17th and 18th were days away from shooting video and stills. The team worked on footage and piecing things together at the house.

Early start
Monday was our third day of shooting and we wanted to get an early start. A cab came to get us at 6:30 so we would be able to meet some of the workers at Tablada, and so that we could go walking around in the neighborhood of Tablada while people would be out in the streets and the parents would be walking their children to school.

Hitting the ground running.
After arriving in Peru we ate a delicious breakfast with Mic’s family; it was prepared by her grandmother. We were out of the house heading toward the site by 9am. We hopped in a cab and took it to the jardines de la paz cemetery where we met the van that would bring us the rest of the way.

After meeting on the floor at around noon, we shared a van to Newark. Timing was a little tight because it turns out that one of us had an expired passport.. The folks at Continental went out of their way to make sure we were able to travel, even calling ahead to the airport in Mexico City where we were stopping over to make sure that we wouldn’t have issues passing through.
